Chelsea Rittenhouse, Ph.D., Neuroscientist
Chelsea is a Neuroscientist at Rumi Scientific, where she leads studies on neurological disorders, with a focus on autism. Formerly a professional ballet dancer, she earned her BS in Neuroscience & Behavior from Columbia University and her PhD from Weill Cornell. Her research background spans stem cell culture, 3D organoid platforms, and microglial development, with training in the labs of Kristen Brennand, Tom Maniatis, and Lorenz Studer.
At Rumi, Chelsea drives drug screening, assay development, and organoid engineering using high-throughput patterned platforms.
In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, yoga, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her husband and family.
