Shoshana Reich, Ph.D., Developmental Biologist and Research Scientist
Shoshana is a Developmental Biologist and Research Scientist at Rumi Scientific, where she leads kidney disease modeling using human stem cell-derived nephroids. Her work integrates high-throughput imaging, single-cell transcriptomics, and CRISPR engineering to map phenotypic changes and identify therapeutic targets.
She earned her PhD in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the CUNY Graduate Center, where she studied T-box transcription factor regulation in early embryogenesis.
Outside the lab, Shoshana enjoys reading, watching football, and playing board games with her children.
